VCam is composed by a set of image capturing devices with Vision Surveyor integration. It includes our proprietary capturing device, our mobile camera app for iPhone and Android and third-party cameras (such as GoPRO).

Cycam3 is the proprietary capturing device that was developed as a way to collect extensive data about a survey, with an high resolution camera, high quality GNSS location, and inertial sensor data such as compass, and instant acceleration. It automatically communicates with VMap’s backend so that a recording can be ‘streamed’ for running detections and post analysis.

Mobile Camera App is delivered by the Object Detection App.

Third-party camera is an alternative data capture device (typically a GoPRO camera). The image capturing is made in video format taking advantage of the location features of the camera. The solution includes post-processing video tools to detect and geolocate objects.
